Description

CAO is a monitoring and production control system for Mecal and third-party crimping machines, designed to interface with MES (Manufacturing Execution System) platforms.

The software connects to customer databases, allowing production recipes to be uploaded via network transfer or USB drive. Recipes can be created and modified directly at the machine, exported, deleted or temporarily suspended to switch to another recipe and later resumed.

The system tracks process phase timings and provides data for OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) calculation. During production, it simultaneously manages scheduled and predictive maintenance of the machine on which it is installed.
