The new "i" serie crimping machine is an evolution of the existing one, sharing most of mechanical parts and refining various value added functionalities. Powered by inverter, it can operate at different working speeds during the crimping point in order to prevent problems due to rapid deformation of the material to be crimped as well preserving a fast cycle time. The jog function has also been improved and through selectors located on the control push buttons it is possible to control accurately the position of the press for operations of calibration and observation. The overall safety protection has also been increased thanks to the new combination of optical and sliding barriers. It featured an Ethernet connection for the remote control of production, get and set the machine status and export production report. They are designed to offer maximum versatility, making them suitable for both semi-automatic/bench top applicationsand integration into automatic machines. These models are compatible with all applicators featuring a «T» Mecal-type connection, as well as column dies with shank connections. Upon request, the machines can be configured with a shut height of 135.8 mm, ideal for mini-applicators and Magnum applicators, or 212 mm, specifically designed for column dies of the MSE, MSM, and MSC types with a 20 mm shank diameter. Offered with a fixed 40 mm stroke, upon request, they can alternatively be configured with a variable stroke ranging from 20 to 40 mm, adjustable in 5 mm increments, and additional customized configurations. Finally, the crimping machines integrate the CFA/CPM load cell developed by Mecal, ensuring high performance and maximum adaptability to the specific needs of the user.
